A Taskforce on Human Resource and Skill Development was established by the Minister of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives on May 16, 2023. The first meeting of the taskforce took place on May 19, 2023, during which subcommittees were formed. Lt. Gen. (Retd) Moazzam Ejaz, Rector of NUTECH, was appointed as the Chairman of Subcommittee II. Attendees of the subcommittees’ meeting included the Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology and M. Tayyab, Director General of the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment.
